I just love this Lamp which has been made with a 3D printer. Bit disturbing maybe? - yes but what centre piece of your living room.

Loretta Lux

Stumbled upon this amazing photographer the other day and instantly fell in love with her work. She mixes traditional painting with photography and photoshop. Some of the children are a little scary looking if i'm honest and look like they'd be at home in a Stanley Kubrick film. Mazin!

The God of small things

Lucian has to be one of the greatest living Artist today. Period! What an incredible Artist. What an incredible Holland Park studio! I'd love to have a studio where i could be 'Dirty' But i don't think the wife would allow a shit hole in one room of our house. But i live in hope? Also reminds me of the studio of Francis Bacon who lived in a dump. So fascinating though.Obviously very eccentric.
Check out this rare film of him and his studio.

Chuck Close

This artist is regarded as one of the greatest living artists in America. First started out painting MEGA realistic paintings of heads in the 70's - in Airbrush. Now has polio and still manages to inspire. Amazing!

Park Life

This the painting that I've donated to the Charity Auction in Bath. It will be auctioned by John Cleese himself! Suppose he needs the money, poor chap! Divorces, ouch!

Silk Stockings

I now have some of the silk stockings works in my house which looks like an Art Gallery at the moment! These are for sale and i will be uploading them onto my website with prices.

The Great barrier reef...sort of.

I've just got back into reef keeping after a 20 year hiatus! This is my Red Sea Max 130D and is maturing just nicely. It will be a whole year before its full and mature proper. Reef keeping has got a lot easier in the last 10 years with new technology etc. Love it! Check out the video....

Vangelis

One of my greatest inspirations in life apart from Art is Music. One man has been a major part of my life and that is the great Vangelis!
No other musician has had such an effect on me and my Art than this man. His music is totally amazing, and what is surprising to a lot of people is that he creates his music 'Live' without pre recorded parts. Its mesmerising to watch him play.
Nemo Studio is the place he created some of the best pieces of music ever created such as 'Bladerunner' and 'Chariots of Fire' in the late 70's to 80's. It no longer exists but i'd love to go back in time and walk round and tinker with his Yamaha C80!
Here are some links....

Hisptamatic and Instagram

http://hipstamaticapp.com/

I have a huge interest in lomography which is all about replicating those 70's snapshots we all love and remember. They are so much more interesting than the ordinary snaps you take with your camera. I use Hipstamatic and Instagram on my iphone 4 and they are amazing! Both are available at the app store. But i've also discovered a new site dedicated to this art form called www.lomograpghy.com Go and have a look!
